Traditionally, the PDNPA provides a cash gift to each teacher at the holidays and at the end of the year. In years past, these funds have come from auction proceeds. This year, due to budget constraints and the desire to preserve funding for all enrichment programs, we're asking parents to individually contribute to the holiday fund. This fund gets dispersed in its entirety to all the teachers in equal portions and it's entirely TAX DEDUCTIBLE. A suggestion is to, at the minimum, contribute $10 per teacher in your classroom, but we encourage any contribution. Teachers will receive a card from the entire class with the holiday money. If you are inclined to supplement with additional gifts, please feel free to do so. Any gesture will be appreciated.
Each classroom will have a folder marked HOLIDAY GIFT. Please deposit checks or cash in envelopes in this folder no later than Tuesday the 15th.
